Denmal, also spelled Delmal/Dilmal, is a village in Chanasma Taluka of Patan district in Gujarat state of India.


Denmal is famous for the site of the tomb of Syedi Hasanfeer Shaheed QR who lived there in the 14th century.


Denmal is 123km, 65km, 48km, 45km and 38km from Ahmedabad, Sidhpur, Mehsana, Patan, Sidhpur and Selavi respectively.

Just as Syedna Qutbuddin Shaheed RA was the first Dai to be martyred, Syedi Hasanfeer Shaheed QR was the first amongst Hudud Kiram QR who sacrificed his life for the sake of Islam and Dawat.


Syedna Qasimkhan Zainuddin RA is the first Dai from the progeny of Syedi Hasanfeer Shaheed QR. 

Hundreds of thousands of people have fulfilled their desires and found solace while visiting the Qabar Mubarak (grave) of Syedi Hasanfeer Shaheed QR over the centuries. Syedi Abdulqadir Hakimuddin QR frequently used to visit Denmal for Ziyarat (pay respects and homage) and even authored a Qasida (poetic verses) in praise of Syedi Hasanfeer Shaheed QR.


Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA and Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA visited Denmal several times during their respective tenure.


Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA laid the foundation stone of the Roza Mubarak (mausoleum) of Syedi Hasanfeer Shaheed QR on 13th Safarul Muzaffar 1339H. The construction was completed within eight years and was inaugurated by Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA on 27th Shavvalul Mukarram 1345H.


Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS is currently on a visit to Denmal. It is his 12th visit since becaming 53rd Dai al-Mutlaq


Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA and Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS often visits Denmal during Ramadan

  1. Good info, but no mention of graves of parrot and camel. What is the significance. First time I have seen graves of animals.
